Learn how to connect your Maverick account

Maverick Merchant Account

Prerequisite: you will need a Maverick merchant account to complete the following steps.

In order to integrate your Maverick Internal Gateway with Skipify, you will need to have a merchant account with an Internal Gateway. From the Merchant Profile Page, you will need to access the DBA ID, Terminal ID and your Token.

Overview

Locating your Maverick Credentials

  1. Login to your stage Maverick Dashboard or production Maverick Dashboard
  2. Navigate to Developers and select API Services. Here you can locate your DBA ID and Terminal ID
  1. Navigate to Developersand select Tokens. If you are a Principal on the merchant account, you will have a Default Token. Click on View Token and Copy

If you are a not a Principal merchant user, you will need to create a Token

  • Click Add Token
  • Enter a Friendly name [For example, Skipify]
  • To add permissions, click Add Permissions
  • From the dropdown menu, select Credit/Debit Card Payments Read and Write
  • Click Submit
  • Repeat these steps to add the remaining permissions:
    • Merchant Read
    • Batches Read
    • Authorizations Read
    • Customer Vault Read
    • Customer Vault Write

Skipify Onboarding

Connect your Maverick account to your Skipify account by assigning or inputting the Maverick terminal_id and access_token (Token).

Maverick Troubleshooting and Common FAQ

I don’t have an Internal Gateway setup

  • If you do not have an Internal Gateway setup, you may request one by submitting a Maverick Dashboard ticket or calling Technical Support 800.464.9777.

I don’t have the required Token Permissions

  • If you don’t see the token permissions listed, you may not have the necessary permissions. Please contact your Maverick admin as they will need to update your Dashboard permissions.
